Tornado

He came into my life like a tornado Sudden Exciting Energizing And wild.

And he left as suddenly as he came Leaving my world unrecognizably changed Leaving me lost Torn to peaces, Craving for more.

But then I realized

The meaning of this encounter

was soothing a greater storm,

Holding my heart through it,

Protecting me from it and mostly from myself,

And hugging our way out of it.
