How do I love myself now?
 
 How do I find the strength
 
 To love myself
 
 My bald and weak self,
 
 This frail version of me
 
 That is left after each wave?

How do I find the strength
 
 To dig deeper and deeper every time
 
 To find that smile again,
 
 Buried under a huge pile
 
 Of fear, pain, loneliness and chemicals.

How do I start loving myself now,
 
 Despite the bald and pale reflection in the mirror,
 
 Despite the loss of femininity?
 
 The loss of life?

How do I love myself now,
 
 When I need it the most to heal?
